Labor Day is earning the title today. Of course the cows are still being milked and we planned on taking advantage of the sunshine to do some chopping. Extra labor today began with unburying a stuck silo unloader. While there are no dramatic photos of the heifers going back in their field, you can see the one of the dead tree that fell on the fence above. We finally capped the day off with a nice barbecue family supper.
Farming is never boring, even on labor day.
